Pursuit of truth by "watching nature"

Goals and Features of the Course

We have moved ahead with modern science by learning every sort of thing from nature. We have kept watching nature and imitating it through trial and error. It is important to have an awareness by constantly watching nature in order to pursue truth from nature. This action is the driving force, which has propeled the standard of science to a high-level. Students will learn this awareness by keeping a watch on nature, starting with the basics in the areas of physics, chemistry, biology, earth sciences and astronomy, and science education. Students will pursue the width and depth of nature through experiments employing the latest instruments, and through theoretical analysis using modern technology, such as computers, etc.

The faculty of the section of Secondary School Science Teacher makes a concerted effort to train students to be energetic and talented teachers. They are expected to contribute to the natural science education for secondary school students who will take on the responsibilities of educating the next generation.
