Goals and Features of the Course

This course of study offers the only specialized course for mathematics' teachers in junior and senior high schools in Kyushu, based on both traditional and current social thinking.
From the first year, this course provides mathematics education, algebra, geometry, analysis, applied mathematics and computer science in a systematic way, based on the actual experiences of mathematics teachers in junior and senior high schools. Along with this, it carries out practice teaching at junior high school and high schools. The contents of lectures are high-level and are designed to develop mathematics for high school teaching. We enable students to acquire the appropriate skills necessary for secondary education teachers.
Students will read technical books by themselves in small group seminars. These seminars are designed to offer not only in-depth knowledge but also to encourage comprehensive reasoning abilities in students.
