Goals and Features of the Course

The Japanese Language Studies Course in Training Program for Elementary School Teachers has the aim of training elementary school teachers to have both a broad perspective and deep understanding of culture. In the first year, students are given a chance to come into contact with children as "teacher's assistants" at elementary schools to experience this type of leadership for a few days. They can not only obtain a teaching certificate for elementary schools, but also one for junior high schools, and high schools by mastering the technical aspects of language, and literature. In order to develop their practical leadership qualities as teachers, they can choose from a variety of lectures offered and obtain practical experience according to their interests.
