Building a society in which everybody gets respect and dignity

Goals and Features of the Course

Students will be expected to master the entire spectrum of skills associated with social work, lifelong education and social administration after completing this course of study's curriculum. Students will also be expected to promote welfare and social education in the 21st century in Japanese society. This program strongly encourages interdisciplinary studies and research by students as well as providing them with opportunities of supervised field practicums in the areas of social work and lifelong education. This is in order to develop students' deeper understanding of the realities of an aging society, the social effect of a drastic decrease in the child population, and contemporary social thought.

The Principles of Social Welfare, Theory of Child Welfare, Theory of Elderly Welfare, Theory of Handicapped Welfare, Policy of Lifelong Education, Seminar of Lifelong Education, Theory of Human Existence, Seminar of Human Existence, Social Policy, Seminar of Social Policy, Study of Present Law, Seminar of Present Law, Theory of Present Population, Seminar of Regional Analysis, Theory of Social Security, Planning of Social Education.
